Texys RPD Ltd offers 3D Design and Rapid Product Development Services (also referred to as Rapid Prototyping or Rapid Manufacturing) including in-house SLS, SLA, Vacuum, RIM and Metal Casting together with Conventional and CNC Machining.

3D Design

The prerequisite for rapid prototyping is the 3D Design, from which a stl file is output; this file type is the industry standard.

SLS - Selective Laser Sintering

An additive / layer fabrication process that sinters (melts) a range of powdered materials to produce a master prototype or for small batch manufacturing.

SL (SLA) - Stereolithography

An additive / layer fabrication process that cures a range of liquid (resin) materials to produce a master prototype.

Casting

A duplication process that makes a mould tool from a master prototype and then produces numerous copies in Vacuum Casting / RIM Resins or Metal (aluminum, zinc etc).

Machining

For metal prototypes a subcontract Machining Service is offered that includes fixture and tool design.
